Air Carrot Susu
Ingredients :
4 carrots
Condensed milk or fresh milk + sugar
Water
Method:
1. Peel carrot skin and wash properly
2. Cut into smaller size that can fit your juicer.
3. Blend using a juicer.
4. Strain the juice.
5. Pour milk + sugar or condensed milk.
6. Pour some water if the juice is very thick to your liking.
7. Enjoy hot or cold.
Moist Apple and Raisin Muffin
- 2 cups (300g) self-raising flour, sifted
- 2/3 cup (150g) caster sugar
- 1 cup (250ml) buttermilk
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/3 cup (80ml) vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 finely chopped pink lady apple, skin on
- 1/2 cup (85g) raisins
Crumble Topping
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 60g butter, chilled, cubed
- 2 tablespoons caster sugar
- 2 tablespoons slivered almonds, chopped
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Place flour and sugar in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, oil and cinnamon. Stir through apple and raisins.
- Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 12-hole, 1/2 cup muffin pan, taking care not to overfill. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes or until golden. Serve warm or cold.
- Make crumble: Sift flour into a bowl. Using your fingertips, rub butter into flour until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Stir in sugar and nuts. Cover. Refrigerate

Nasi Lemak Royal
This menu is very popular at north of Malaysia. It is suitable for breakfast, lunch or even dinner.
Nasi Lemak
Ingredients A:
4 pots basmathi rice
4 tbls condensed milk
400 ml coconut cream
3 pandan leaves
water - depends on the rice. usually the ratio is 1 cup rice : 1 cup liquid (including coconut cream)
Ingredients B:
1 medium onion, sliced
1 inch ginger, sliced
oil to saute
Ingredients C:
1 tbls fenogreek (halba)
1 tsp coarse black pepper
1 inch ginger
1 medium onion, cut into quarters
salt to taste
Methods:
1. Saute until fragrant ingredients B. Add rice and condensed milk and mix thoroughly.
2. Pour coconut cream, water, pandan leaves, Ingredients C and salt.
3. Transfer to rice cooker and let the rice cook.
Daging pedas
Ingredients A:
1 kg beef
6 tbls chilli powder
6 tbls sweet soy sauce
6 tbls salty soy sauce
4 tbls oyster sauce
1 tbls fish sauce
1 tbls tomato sauce
Ingredients B:
4 sprigs curry leaves
3 pandan leaves
2 inch cinnamon stick
4 cardamom
2 star anise
some oil to saute
Methods:
1. Mix together ingredients A and set aside (marinate) for about 4 hours.
2. Saute until fragrant Ingredients B. Put in ingredients B. Pour some water.
3. Cook until the beef is tender.

Pau
Ingredients A :
2 tsp instant dried yeast
50ml water
2 tsp sugar
Ingredients B :
300g self-raising flour
3 tbls oil
1/2 tsp salt
120 ml water
Method:
1. Mix ingredients A and set aside until bubbly.
2. Mix flour with oil and salt.
3. Mix flour mixture with Ingredients A.
4. Add in water gradually and knead until the dough do not stick at your hand.
5. Let the dough double its size or put in the oven for about 45 min ( preheat oven to 40 C - 50 C for 15 minutes and then switch off the oven)
6. Punch the dough to let out the air. Divide dough into small balls.
7. Flatten the balls and put in some fillings. Cover the fillings and place the dough with the filling on a small grease proof paper.
8. Steam on high heat for about 8 - 10 minutes.

Chicken Chop & Mushroom & Black Pepper Gravy
Chicken Chop
Ingredients:
4 Chicken thigh fillet
1 tsp White pepper
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
Plain flour
Egg , lightly beaten
Breadcrumb
Oil to fry
Method:
1. Marinate chicken with white pepper, salt & oyster sauce for about 30 minutes.
2. Coat chicken with plain flour, then egg and lastly breadcrumb.
3. Fry in a deep fryer.
Mushroom & Black Pepper Gravy

Ingredients :
2 cups chicken or beef stock (I just dilute the chicken cube in enough water)
1/2 cup fresh milk (I used low fat milk)
crushed black pepper
2 inches celery stick ~ sliced
1/2 onion ~ diced
2 tablespoon sweet soya sauce (more if you want the color of the gravy to be darker)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 can button mushroom ~ sliced
2 tablespoons flour ~ mix wit water (as a thickening agent)
salt and sugar ~ if necessary
Method :
1. Pour the chicken/beef stock in a pot. Add fresh milk, diced onion and sliced celery. Let it boil.
2. Remove from heat and put through a sieve. Place it back on the stove.
3. Add black pepper, soya sauce, oyster sauce, butter, button mushroom, salt and sugar. Stir.
4. Last but not least, add in flour mixture to the thickness you desire. Remove from heat.
5. Pour onto the chicken

Moist Berries muffin
Muffin for our sunday breakfast.. Yummyyy.. Specially made by my dear safiya
Ingredients
220g self-raising flour, sifted
1/4 cup ( + 1 tbls) vegetable oil / melted butter
3/4 cup buttermilk / milk
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla essence
150g berries/choc chip/grated apples/carrots
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180. Line muffin tin with patty cases.
2. Mix all dry ingredients together and make a well
3. Mix all wet ingredients together and pour into the well
4. Add berries/choc chip and mix well until just combined
5. Place in tins and bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned
Notes :
Over mixing will toughen the muffin
